Near the top of the pumice ridge, we traversed right across a gully and then climbed to the rim of the ice-filled summit crater by noon. Here, I'm standing on the southeast edge of the rim, looking across at Bede and Basil standing just to the right of the true summit at the southwest corner of the rim (10541 ft).
