Soon we hit the treeline and slalomed down though the forest. Here George weaves his way through the glades. It was fine tree skiing, although the snow was quite heavy and wet since it was late afternoon. We followed the last vestiges of snow down to about 5900 ft, and then hiked west along the edge of a small creek drainage.
