This view shows the entire southwest face, with George at left and Alex at right. George had boarded the right finger of snow, while Alex and I skied the chute between the lava pinnacles at left. Yes, Alex is wearing his helmet. The chute through the pinnacles was fairly steep and surrounded by hard rock.
