By following the aforementioned streambed from the bottom of the Gulch, we managed to ski continuously down to 7100 ft, with a couple of muddy patches on the way. We ended up right beside the original trail, only five minutes walk from the parking lot. This map shows our climbing and skiing route, with color coding corresponding to our mode of travel (scale shown in miles). Red sections were hiked on foot, while blue portions were skied. The purple section above Red Banks was climbed on foot with crampons, but descended on skis.
