North of the false summit lies the bulky ice-capped summit dome. The climbing route traverses a saddle beyond the false summit before heading up the last steep face to the true summit. I put my skis back on at the false summit and skied the slightly downward-angling traverse, before putting the skis back on my pack and climbing up the final slope.
